


Youth Action Alliance
Youth Action Alliance (YAA) delivers youth support services to vulnerable children and young people aged 8-19 and up to 25 for young people with learning difficulties or disabilities. Based in a portacabin (The Hut) in North Kensington, they run a youth centre and work in partnership delivering services from venues across the borough. They work consists of three strands including serious youth violence, employability and enterprise work, and targeted group work – engaging with young people who choose not to access location-based services and holiday provision.
YAA’s vision is to support the personal and social development of young people, enabling them to increase their resilience, learn new skills in the present, and promote their ambitions for the future. Their mission is to support all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential and make positive life choices by engaging in fun and innovative youth activities.
The Lightbulb Trust is partnering with YAA to support their core staff to ensure delivery of vital services to the community.
