Young K & C
Young K&C works with a community of over 100 member and partner organisations to support children and young people in Kensington & Chelsea. We work with partners to deliver grant funding, develop capacity of local voluntary organisations, increase inclusion and youth voice.
We are delighted to work in partnership with Lightbulb Trust to deliver a grant programme and training for smaller, local supplementary schools and to deliver training and support for inclusion of disabled young people in local play and youth provision.
Supplementary schools play a vital role improving educational outcomes and life chances for immigrant communities in Kensington and Chelsea. This programme, with Lightbulb Trust, will empower, enable and enhance smaller, local supplementary schools to support children’s education and development, enhance quality and build financial sustainability.
The support from Lightbulb Trust will enable us to deliver training for local voluntary organisations to increase inclusion of disabled children and young people in after school and holiday activities.
