Becauze
Becauze CIC is a Community Interest Company designed to empower the youth of Kensington and Chelsea through dynamic opportunities. Established in February 2020, our mission is to provide a practical platform for young people to develop their skills, confidence, and entrepreneurial spirit, enhancing their employability and ability to effect change in their lives.
Our primary venture is our four-day Barista Coffee course and coffee cart, which offer paid and volunteer opportunities for 16-to 25-year-olds. This unique “Learn as you Earn” program offers comprehensive barista training, customer service experience, and mentoring, supporting their development into capable professionals.
Lightbulb Trust will be supporting us with our 4-day barista training course, enabling us to maximise the number of young people we can train and help them with further employment or education in West London.
