Becauze CIC is a Community Interest Company dedicated to empowering the youth of Kensington and Chelsea alongside neighbouring London boroughs through hands-on opportunities.
We were established in February 2020, our mission is to provide a practical platform for young people to develop their skills, confidence, and directly enhance their employability, giving them the tools to effect real change in their lives.
Our flagship venture features a 3-day Barista Coffee course, a mobile coffee cart, and our Kensington Central Library coffee shop offering both paid and volunteer opportunities for 16-to-25-year-olds. This unique “Learn as you Earn” program delivers:
Comprehensive barista and technical training
Real-world customer service experience
Dedicated professional mentoring
We are proudly supported by the Lightbulb Trust who generously support our important work. This vital partnership enables us to maximise the number of young people we can reach, equipping them with the skills needed to seamlessly transition into further employment or education.
