Rugby Portobello
The Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT) is a children’s, youth and family support charity that has been supporting the local community for over 135 years. We provide a range of activities to help the youngest members of our community build confidence, expand their horizons and realise their potential through a range of projects.
The Lightbulb Trust is supporting RPT’s Amplify project which will provide alternative education, creative enterprise and job procurement. Young people will explore and grow their creative outlets and aspirations in a safe and inclusive environment.
Amplify will offer young people a series of workshops, masterclasses and hands-on-experience, utilising RPT’s state-of-the-art music studios. Young people will have access to training opportunities, industry experts and trips and work experience within the music and creative arts industry.
An experienced music technician will work with the young people to build skills and experience, nurture their passion and open up pathways into employment and training.
