Intoart
Intoart’s vision is for people with learning disabilities to be visible, equal and established artists.
Intoart is an art and design studio based in Peckham, South London, addressing inequalities of access to and participation in the visual arts, education and culture by people with learning, sensory, physical disabilities and Autistic people. Intoart runs an ambitious full-time programme of inclusive learning, studio practice and public programmes with local, national and international reach.
With support from the Greenlight Project fund, following a pilot year in 2023, Intoart will develop and deliver a further two year programme called Intoart Studio Plus +, a positive platform to expand and invest in new visual art practice and creative progression of learning disabled artists. The programme enables Intoart to resource visual art studio activity with staffing capacity to support new opportunities in art making and share outcomes with audiences through film and exhibitions.
