Solidarity Sports
Solidarity Sports is a West London based charity that helps children recover from trauma. They use the transformative power of play to nurture children’s confidence as they believe every child deserves happiness. Solidarity Sports works with children facing a range of complex needs, including neglect, abandonment, childhood obesity and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). With the help from the Lightbulb Trust, vulnerable children and young people will be provided with necessary IT equipment so they can access educational resources and families can stay connected during the COVID-19 crisis. In addition, 100 families will be given weekly support through food supplies, care packages, essential household items and a video buddying service.
