Read Easy
Read Easy UK provides free, confidential one-to-one reading coaching for adults who struggle with their reading. 2.4 million adults in England can barely read or cannot read at all*. In practical terms, this means that they struggle to pay household bills, understand health warnings, do the food shopping, and are also unable to support their own children’s learning.
Read Easy UK supports groups of committed volunteers to set up local organisations to help adults in their community learn to read. Read Easy UK will be working with the Lightbulb Trust to expand across London and the South East, supporting groups in the capital and beyond to help struggling readers to increase their skills, confidence, and independence.
