Apps for Good
Apps for Good equips young people with vital digital, employability and life skills. Free courses are taught in schools to empower young people to use technology to improve their lives and communities. Interacting with volunteers from the tech industry helps young people practise the skills they learn. Lightbulb Trust’s support will mean Apps for Good can develop a new online tool so that more young people can interact with volunteers, whether they are learning in school or at home. With funding from the Lightbulb Trust, Apps for Good will pilot the new tool in London schools. They aim to offer it to all partner schools in 2021.
